Joe Solowiejczyk (Diabetes Nurse Educator, Family Therapist and 50+ year member of the type 1 diabetes community)

In his contribution to the You Can Do This Project (a “grassroots video movement, created by and for people with diabetes, that provides validation, hope, and encouragement through honest talk”) Joe assures us that emotional meltdowns don't mean that we're failing to cope well with diabetes. Joe also shares his strategies for embracing frustration and anger, and offers encouragement for the journey.
